Protocol when calling council (Kevin)
- There was an incident in February where council was contacted by FS to collect rubbish that was dumped on the grounds.
- The communications between FS, Communify and two departsments of council resulting from this was very confusing as none of the parties were co-ordinated.
- Agreed protocol with Communify: we should inform Communify (Miranda) whenever we contact council so that she has an awareness of an incident/report if she is contacted.
- Also: contact Kevin if there is anything unusual.
- ACTION: Kevin to post on new announcement channel.
Kitchen renovations (Kevin)
- Miranda is applying for a "Better Suburbs" grant for 10k.
- This will not cover all the renovations required to take the kitchen to commercial standards but it will be a start.
- She thinks they should start with a commercial dishwasher.
- GROUP: Agreed to spend grant proceedings on dishwasher
Door code has been changed (Kevin)
- As requested at last GM.
- Changed at about 4:00pm on the 22nd of February.
- Miranda is happy to give us more than one code if we need multiple levels e.g. one for co-ordinators that doesn't change and another for general use that is regularly changed. We need to inform her if we want this done.
MOU (Kevin)
- Miranda is happy with our small amendments to the MOU and will forward it to Karen Dare (Communify CEO) to be signed off.
Kitchen (Kevin)
- Fire blanket has been moved into the kitchen.
Food license (Kevin)
- Kevin is attempting to contact Nic Cooper to make some inquiries about our food licensing option as it has been difficult to get good information. He was on holidays until the 22nd of Feb. We are awaiting for him to respond to an e-mail.
- If we do decide to take on a food license requiring a approved food safety procedures, Communify at Newfarm has experience at implementing them with minimal resources. The contact for this is (another) Miranda.
