NOTE: the group descriptions here are taken from the notes from the 25th May meeting and are only provisional.

Finance

• Provisional Description: Bookkeeping, creating a better banking system then the one we currently have.

Food Procurement and Storage

• Provisional Description: Doing the shopping, knowing what's needed in the kitchen, doing stock-takes and creating a shopping list based on what will be needed. Car required.

Free Shop

• Provisional Description: Running the free shop to sort, organise, put on the racks, drop off things to op shops that we don’t want.

Gardens and Groundskeeping

• Provisional Description:
  • Doing big, semi-regular jobs like lawn mowing as well as making sure that small, regular clean up and maintenance is being performed by the volunteers
  • Co-ordinating the gardens operation internally and with the other volunteers; gardens-related liason with neighbours.

Laundry

• Provisional Description: Doing laundry CC and liaising with government to get a laundry in Social Space

Manifesto (Task Group)

• Provisional Description: Creating a manifesto to define our values and ethos. They should come up with some ideas and run a discussion group and use the notes from that for the new manifesto for that to be confirmed by the groups.

Recruiting, Rosters and Procedures

• Provisional Description: Making sure volunteers are being recruited, retained and trained and creating procedures to aid this.
